In-patient services

Most of the patients seen by the Haematology Department are seen in the out-patient setting. However, when patients are unwell they may need admission to hospital. This can occur when patients first become unwell or suffer with complications from their condition. The Haematology ward is a small ward, it is less busy and noisy compared to some of the hospital wards. The Nursing staff are experienced in providing care to Haematology patients and patients are seen every day by the team of Haematology Doctors.
